Head-on Crash on PCH Critically Injures 2

A head-on crash on Pacific Coast Highway at Tuna Canyon Rd. on Tuesday left two people in critical condition.

The accident was reported at 5:09 p.m. A 25-year-old Los Angeles resident was traveling southbound on PCH in a Buick Regal. He veered into oncoming lanes and slammed head-on into a Honda Accord traveling northbound on Pacific Coast Highway. The driver of the Honda Accord was a 46-year-old man from Oxnard. Neither vehicle had passengers.

Both men were transported to a local hospital. The younger man, who was transported by helicopter, is reported to be in grave condition and not expected to survive his injuries.
