Authorities Search for Hit-and-Run Driver involved in Fatal Crash

The driver involved in a hit-and-run accident earlier in the week which resulted in the death of a pedestrian remains on the loose.

The accident happened on December 19th at 3:25 p.m. at the intersection of Western Ave. and Vernon. Tracy Louis Walker, a 50-year-old Los Angeles resident, was walking in a crosswalk when she was hit. Walker was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

In a press release by the Los Angeles Police Department, the hit-and-run vehicle is described as a dark colored older model Lexus.
