Fatal Big Rig Crash on 210 Freeway

A big rig crash involving a wrong-way driver on the 210 Freeway in Sylmar on Thursday left one driver dead.

The accident happened just after 2:15 a.m. near Roxford St. The driver of a sedan was headed eastbound on westbound lanes of the 210 Freeway. The driver collided with a UPS truck which had swerved to try to avoid the car. One of the trailers of the UPS tractor-trailer rolled over and crashed through the dividing wall.

The driver of the sedan, a female whose name has not been released, was killed in the collision.
