A big rig and four vehicles were involved in a crash today on the 405 freeway, near the 10 Freeway.
The accident happened at about 1:09 p.m. on the southbound 405 Freeway, just north of Venice Blvd. According to the CHP, a tractor-trailer struck the right shoulder wall. Four other vehicles became involved in the crash.
According to the CHP, at least one person was transported to a local hospital.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
