Saturday afternoon, a car and an SUV crashed in a head-on collision on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu near La Salsa Mexican Grill.
According to Lt. Robert Ward of the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station, only minor injuries were reported. However, four people were transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
A nearby business owner, Jefferson Wagner, who is also a Malibu City Councilmember, heard the crash from his store. According to Wagner, neither vehicle honked before the crash, and the force of the collision spun both vehicles 360 degrees.
