A two-vehicle accident this morning near LAX resulted in a motorcyclist's death.
According to Los Angeles police officer Bruce Borihanh, the accident happened at about 5 a.m. in Inglewood at the intersection of Industrial Ave. and La Cienega Blvd. The crash location is northeast of LAX, on the border between Inglewood and Los Angeles.
The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The northbound 405 exit at La Cienega Blvd. was closed, as was a section of La Cienega while a scene investigation was conducted. Drivers headed to LAX were advised to allow extra time due to roadway closures.
