Hit-and-Run Driver Strikes LAPD motorcycle officer on PCH


A Los Angeles Police Department motorcycle officer was struck by a hit-and-run driver on Pacific Coast Highway Wednesday night.

The accident happened at about 7:50 p.m. in Pacific Palisades, near the intersection of PCH and Sunset Blvd. The hit-and-run driver fled the scene of the accident, heading northbound on PCH, without rendering aid. The driver's vehicle is described as a dark colored vehicle.

The motorcycle officer was transported to UCLA Medical Center. His condition is unknown.
