2 Separate Big Rig Crashes on 210 Freeway in Pasadena

|

According to the CHP, Saturday's morning's rain caused a spike in the number motor vehicle accidents.

Early Saturday, two separate big rig accidents resulted in closure of the 210 freeway in both directions.

According to the CHP, shortly after 7 a.m. on Saturday, a tractor-trailer hauling milk overturned on the eastbound 210 freeway tunnel in Pasadena, near the 134 freeway junction. Though no major injuries were reported, two lanes were closed until 1:45 p.m. as milk was pumped from the overturned truck and the wreckage was cleared from the roadway.

About the same time, another big rig accident happened on the westbound connector road in the same area.
